Year 8 Waka

At the beginning of term we completed these awesome classroom waka. We discussed how we each bring individual strengths, personalities and characteristics to our community of learning that enables our waka to progress. We are all in this together and each person has to do their bit to help our waka move forward. It is time to reflect on Term 1. What have you brought to our place here at APS that has ensured you have done your part in helping our waka move forward?

    Theo, Lucas, Sam and I have created a Chess Club for people who either like playing chess or don't have anything to do in there Lunch time.

    I have brought leadership because I am one of the leaders for the chees club .

    I cooperate with other people . I get most of my work done in the time given . I always try my best no matter what it is . I try and help other people if I had already done what they are trying to do. I try and be a leader by suggesting things to others . Next term I could try work with different people because I usually always work with the same people .

    And I have also progressed with my behaviour through the term/ before week 6 I got fined daily now I sometimes get fined every week or two

    I have brought leadership to this class as I have joined the P.A.L leadership group.I have also stared orginzing the pink eqement with Carla for the 7`s a side and orgnizing 40 hour fammen with Kadesha and Katelyn.

    I have brought fun for example the fun game Daniel and I made using minecraft to the class room this term. I need to improve on my time managment so I can finish everything on timebecause over wise me and my group wouldn't have to hurry up and finish our slides for our own culture. insted of muking around and not relly geting a move on. sincerly Ethan ( Posum dude

    I am an organizer for the 40 hour famine and a pal leader too. I've also think I am loud but I'm going to work on it.

    I have brought to the class fun,laughter and excitement because can make people laugh and cheer people up and make them laugh. I enjoy making people laugh because it makes me feel good about myself.

    I have contributed to the school cricket comp we won our first game but lost the second. I have really enjoyed organise the chess club. My and Ethan have represented our class in a Otago book quiz we came about 9th. I think that I bring intelligence and initiative
